Why we must not neglect our faith & spirituality. Talk to God more often. Pray from your heart.

Prayer. And spirituality, at least for me.

What is prayer for you? How do you communicate with other people, and with your loved-ones while we are on this plane, called our planet Earth.

Why should we pray?

And when we do. Why we ought to pray from our hearts. And why we need to pray more often.

Before, I also neglected prayer as a child growing up. I didn’t give it much thought. And in my error, I thought I could live without doing it that much. Mostly I went to church to hear mass, because it was a requirement. And also because my parents often nagged me to do so. I didn’t understood what the Holy Mass was. Or just how important it is.

My friends, it is fortunate that God allowed me to now realize and learn more when I grew up and grew older.

Presently, I now am able, with God’s constant help and with the support of my family, especially from that of my folks, to hold a regular prayer routine. And to hear and actively participate in Holy Mass, more regularly.

I try to at least, to pray at certain times of the day and also before I go to sleep at night. Doing so, mostly after waking up in the morning.

I learned and still learn from Catholic priests, that if you don’t schedule your time, a dedicated schedule for praying within your waking hours of the day, that it is very likely for you to miss and not to pray at all. With all the busyness of our modern lives, and a few other excuses that we often have to not pray.

My friends, I do implore you to schedule a time, to do dedicated praying. Talk to God, if possible, put God first in the early morning.

We must give thanks to God. For a whole lot of things, including, that we are still alive. We woke up from our slumber this morning. We have families, we have a roof over our heads, and so on. Prayer and gratitude, real gratefulness, unlocks the heart of God.

For me, in the morning I pray the Holy Rosary to ask prayers (or intercessions) from our blessed virgin Mary, and also, to ask for mercy, guidance, and forgiveness from the Lord our God. It is something that is a main-stay for me, in how I do my morning prayers.

Friends, prayer really helps a lot.

A lot has changed for me, internally and externally, ever since I started praying more often. And giving it real priority in my life.

It is good, it is a blessing to me, when I did listen to my own mom. With her endless reminders for us before.

Friends, let us pray. Pray from our heart, when we do our prayers. And let us pray more regularly and thoughtfully.

Remember, that when we pray, we are talking to God.

Talk to God, because He is your very best friend that you could ever have. Talk to God, like how you talk to your most trusted, and to a very close loved-one. He really appreciates it, that time and love you put in your prayers. And He listens to all of our prayers. Even when at times, our prayers aren’t audible anymore — when at times, there are no more words — when it is only with tears falling from our eyes that embody our prayers.

All the more, that God hears your heart and listens to your prayer.

My friends, I’ll leave you with this note for tonight. And I’m sorry that I was not able to finish writing this post earlier today.

Anyway, my note for you — is for you to keep hoping in the Lord, our God. Keep the faith. Try prayer. If you already pray, try to pray regularly and a little more often.

Ask God to increase your faith and your love for God. Put your trust in God.

Let us not blindly trust just ourselves. For this is foolish, in truth. Let us trust in God.

You’ll see, eventually, ask from God the Holy Spirit, and He will give you spiritual and temporal gifts. The gifts of the Holy Spirit. All good things are blessings and graces from our Heavenly Father, our God the Lord in heaven.

Our life may not become easier. That is not promised here on this plane, however, you can rest well and remain assured that God will sustain you. And remain faithful that He will grant you all the necessary graces you need in this life.

We are called.

Each one of us has a calling from God.

Without His help, without prayers to ask for His graces to us, without communication with the Lord our God. It’s just not possible for us human beings.

Without God, really we are nothing.

That’s it for now, my friends.

Good night, and thank you.
