My friends, what do you do when you succeed at something you set about doing, or achieving? Likewise, what do you do when you encounter set-backs, or failures in your journey?
Have learnt from my folks, my parents, from other older relatives, and from the church. Particularly, also from holy Catholic priests, from the religious sisters and brothers.
That we ought to give the glory from the works of our minds and hands, to God. And not to ourselves. For one, it is only through God’s graces that we are able to have something in life. That we are able to reach somewhere in our mortal journey and toil.
My friends, it is only right — for us, to give the glory and the honor to God.
All that we have in life, and so on, are loaned from God. Borrowed, even our very lives are borrowed from God. We owe everything to Him, Who created us. Who saved us. Who sustains us from our day to day.
Likewise, when you go about setting your goals in life.
Please, we must bear in mind that through solemn and continual prayer — we ought to offer our plans, dreams, and hopes to God. At the foot of the Holy Cross of our Lord Jesus, the Christ. Who is our Lord, and our God. We also must ask for guidance and strength, the gifts of the Holy Spirit. We invoke the Holy Trinity, we ask if it is God’s will for us, on what we are about to undertake or pursue in life. That whatever fruit it might bear, may be for our good, for the good of our fellow brothers and sisters, and that our actions and words may please and glorify God.
I do write this post now, my friends. To caution you, and to also remind ourselves, to work and speak glorifying God. And offering the works of our minds and hands to the Lord.
When you do, you will see, when it is God’s will. That He, our Lord, will help you with the necessary graces.
All for the greater glory of God.
Last, but not in any way least — we must learn to give our thanks to God.
Do these things, and if it is God’s will, your plans will bear good fruits. And you will yield a bountiful harvest — that is good for you, and good for other people also.
Thank you, my friends.
And I hope you accompany me on this journey. Remember, to offer up to God your plans. And to focus on glorifying the Lord our God, in all things. Ask for the grace from God, that we are able to do so.
Hello there! How are you? My name is Abraham, or, Abe to all my friends, acquaintances, and family.
I’m a young dad, an uncle, an older kuya, and a son. I love learning and putting things together when it comes to small projects around computers, and tech. And for me, I also love food, everyday drink — like coffee, and most furry creatures — like good doggo doggos (goofy doggos), and chonky (very fat, almost circular and literally round) cattos. ^_^ Anyway, I hope good animals also make you chuckle, my friends.
Recently, I was hired to work as an engineer in I.T., specializing in looking after web-servers, maintenance, and a few other stuff.
Thank God! From my end, I had been dreaming to become an engineer in I.T., and have been studying for it for a time now.
We mustn’t stop with our training and study. For we’ll need to keep learning in order for us to remain helpful.
Nawa, ang Panginoon’g Diyos ang Siyang purihin, dakilain, at pasalamatan sa ating mga gawain, at salita.
My friends, may the Lord our God be glorified, honored, and praised – through the kind of work that He called us unto.
Thank you, and for now, that’s mostly it for me. Salamat po!
